INTAMPA INC Service and Billing Terms

Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains the cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, refund, billing-dispute, and service-resolution terms that apply to property maintenance and related services provided by INTAMPA INC in Tampa Bay and Central Florida.

Effective and last updated: August 6, 2026

Summary: You may cancel or reschedule most appointments without a cancellation fee by providing at least 48 hours of notice. Completed services are generally final, but INTAMPA INC will review documented service failures and will have a reasonable opportunity to correct eligible concerns before a refund is considered.

A project-specific estimate, proposal, booking confirmation, work order, recurring-service agreement, or signed contract may contain different terms. When properly disclosed and accepted, those project-specific terms control over this general policy.

1. Scope and Acceptance

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to property maintenance, commercial cleaning, residential cleaning, junk removal, property cleanouts, interior painting, drywall repairs, handyman services, rental-property preparation, Airbnb support, and related services provided by INTAMPA INC.

By accepting an estimate, scheduling a service, paying a deposit, authorizing work, or allowing work to begin, the customer agrees to this policy and the applicable INTAMPA INC Terms and Conditions.

This policy forms part of the agreement between INTAMPA INC and the person or organization purchasing the service.

2. General Refund Policy

Payments for properly completed labor, consumed materials, completed disposal, equipment use, authorized purchases, and other delivered services are final unless:

  • A written estimate, warranty, or service agreement states otherwise.
  • INTAMPA INC approves a refund under this policy.
  • The customer paid more than the amount properly due.
  • The service was not provided.
  • A refund is required by applicable law.

A request for a refund does not automatically establish refund eligibility. INTAMPA INC may inspect the work, review project records, compare the result with the documented scope, and offer corrective service before approving a refund.

The Tampa Bay property maintenance cancellation policy and Central Florida commercial cleaning refund terms on this page are designed to provide clear expectations before a customer schedules or purchases a service.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

48-Hour Cancellation Window

Customers may cancel or reschedule most appointments without a scheduling fee by contacting INTAMPA INC at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival window.

Standard cancellation and rescheduling schedule
Notice Provided Standard Scheduling Fee Additional Responsibility
At least 48 hours No cancellation or rescheduling fee Customer remains responsible for approved nonrecoverable materials, permits, rentals, delivery charges, or third-party costs already incurred.
Between 24 and 48 hours The lesser of $75 or 15% of the scheduled service price Approved nonrecoverable project costs may also be deducted from prepaid amounts.
Less than 24 hours The lesser of $150 or 25% of the scheduled service price Actual approved costs incurred for dispatched personnel, materials, rentals, disposal reservations, or subcontractors may also apply.
After work begins Payment for completed labor and committed project costs The customer must pay for work performed, materials used or ordered, equipment commitments, disposal, and other authorized costs through the cancellation time.

A customer may request one reasonable rescheduling change without a scheduling fee when at least 48 hours of notice is provided and a suitable replacement date is available.

Large commercial projects, multi-unit services, dedicated crew reservations, emergency work, specialty projects, and services requiring significant advance purchasing may use different cancellation terms. Any different terms must appear in the accepted project document.

How to cancel or reschedule

To cancel or reschedule, call 813-761-0078 or email hello@servicesintampa.com .

A cancellation is effective when INTAMPA INC receives the request. Leaving a voicemail, sending an email, or sending a text message does not guarantee immediate review outside normal administrative hours. Customers should retain a copy of written cancellation communications.

4. Lockouts, Denied Access, and Unsafe Conditions

Lockout and Failed-Access Fee

If assigned personnel arrive but cannot enter the property or safely begin work because the customer did not provide required access, the appointment may be treated as a same-day cancellation. The standard fee will be the lesser of $150 or 25% of the scheduled service price.

A failed-access or lockout condition may include:

  • An incorrect key, lockbox code, gate code, alarm code, or entry instruction.
  • No authorized person being available when access requires one.
  • A locked or inaccessible work area.
  • An aggressive or unsecured animal.
  • A denied elevator, loading-area, parking, or building reservation.
  • An occupant refusing access after the customer scheduled the service.
  • A hazardous condition that was not disclosed before arrival.
  • No working water, electricity, lighting, or other utility reasonably required for the service.

INTAMPA INC may also charge documented, nonrecoverable mobilization, parking, toll, equipment, rental, subcontractor, or disposal costs when those costs were incurred for the failed appointment.

INTAMPA INC may waive or reduce a lockout fee when circumstances were outside the customer’s reasonable control and the customer promptly cooperates with rescheduling.

5. Deposits and Advance Payments

INTAMPA INC may require a deposit or advance payment to reserve labor, purchase materials, rent equipment, schedule subcontractors, obtain permits, or begin a large project.

How deposits are applied

Deposits are credited toward the final project price. A deposit is not an additional charge unless the customer breaches the agreement and a properly disclosed cancellation or damage charge applies.

Refundable deposit portions

When a customer cancels at least 48 hours before the scheduled service and before INTAMPA INC commits the funds, INTAMPA INC will refund the unused portion of the deposit.

Nonrefundable deposit portions

The portion of a deposit used or committed for the following may be nonrefundable:

  • Custom-tinted or special-order paint.
  • Custom-sized, cut, fabricated, or ordered materials.
  • Nonreturnable fixtures, hardware, parts, or supplies.
  • Permit, inspection, application, or administrative fees.
  • Equipment rentals and delivery charges.
  • Reserved subcontractors or specialty providers.
  • Completed planning, measuring, preparation, procurement, or labor.
  • Other authorized costs that INTAMPA INC cannot reasonably recover.

INTAMPA INC will provide a reasonable accounting of deductions when a deposit refund is reduced because of committed project costs.

A project document may identify a specific reservation fee or deposit portion as nonrefundable. Such a term applies only when it is clearly disclosed before payment and permitted by law.

6. Refund Eligibility

A full or partial refund may be approved when:

  • INTAMPA INC received payment but did not perform the scheduled service.
  • A customer made a duplicate payment or verifiable overpayment.
  • INTAMPA INC cancels the service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative date.
  • A material portion of the documented scope was not performed.
  • The completed work contains a verified material workmanship issue that INTAMPA INC cannot reasonably correct.
  • The parties agree in writing to reduce the price because part of the approved scope was removed.
  • An applicable statute, court order, payment rule, or written warranty requires a refund.

A partial refund will generally reflect the value of the unperformed or materially deficient portion of the service. It will not ordinarily include properly completed work, consumed materials, completed hauling or disposal, or unaffected portions of the project.

7. Charges That Are Generally Nonrefundable

Except when required by law or approved by INTAMPA INC, refunds are not provided for:

  • Labor properly completed within the documented scope.
  • Materials installed, applied, consumed, damaged after installation, or accepted by the customer.
  • Custom, special-order, tinted, cut, fabricated, or nonreturnable materials.
  • Completed junk removal, hauling, recycling, donation, or disposal.
  • Equipment rentals, delivery charges, permits, inspections, parking, tolls, and third-party costs already incurred.
  • Emergency, priority, same-day, or after-hours mobilization that has already occurred.
  • Customer-requested work later determined to be unnecessary or unwanted.
  • Customer-supplied products, paint, fixtures, replacement parts, designs, instructions, or materials.
  • Work affected by undisclosed pre-existing damage or concealed property conditions.
  • Delays caused by the customer, an occupant, building management, an association, another contractor, or a government authority.
  • Lost rent, lost bookings, lost business, inconvenience, replacement lodging, or other indirect losses.

Subjective dissatisfaction alone does not create refund eligibility when the work materially conforms to the accepted scope and reasonable industry tolerances.

8. Make It Right Service Resolution Process

Our first remedy is correction. When a service concern is eligible for correction, INTAMPA INC will have a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work and address the documented issue before a refund, payment reversal, or third-party repair is considered.

Notice deadlines

Customers should report visible concerns within these periods:

  • Cleaning, turnover, junk removal, and property cleanout services: Within 24 hours after completion.
  • Interior painting, drywall repairs, and handyman work: Within three calendar days after completion for visible workmanship concerns.
  • Concealed or latent issues: Promptly after discovery and within any applicable written warranty period.

These reporting periods help preserve evidence and allow timely inspection. They do not eliminate a nonwaivable legal right or a longer express written warranty.

Information required

The customer should provide:

  • The service address and completion date.
  • A clear description of the concern.
  • Photographs or videos when reasonably available.
  • The specific part of the accepted scope that was not satisfied.
  • Reasonable access for inspection and corrective work.

Available remedies

Depending on the circumstances, INTAMPA INC may:

  • Return to clean, adjust, repair, touch up, or complete eligible work.
  • Replace a qualifying material or component.
  • Apply a reasonable service credit.
  • Approve a partial refund.
  • Approve a full refund for the affected service when correction is impossible or commercially unreasonable.

A customer who refuses reasonable inspection or corrective access may limit the remedies INTAMPA INC can provide.

Emergency action needed to prevent injury or additional property damage does not require the customer to wait for an inspection. The customer should document the condition and notify INTAMPA INC as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Service-Specific Refund Conditions

Commercial and residential cleaning

Cleaning outcomes depend on surface age, condition, material, previous treatment, maintenance history, ventilation, available time, staining, odor sources, and accessibility.

A refund is not normally available solely because a permanent stain, odor, mineral deposit, discoloration, scratch, adhesive, infestation, or existing surface defect could not be fully removed. Eligible missed areas should be reported through the Make It Right process.

Junk removal and property cleanouts

Completed removal, hauling, donation, recycling, and disposal services are final. The customer must clearly identify items that must remain before removal begins.

Additional charges may apply when actual volume, weight, access conditions, material classification, or disposal requirements materially differ from the information supplied during estimating.

Interior painting

The customer is responsible for approving colors, products, finishes, and sheen before application. Custom-tinted paint and opened paint products are generally nonrefundable.

Digital displays, printed samples, lighting, wall texture, surface porosity, previous coatings, and paint age can cause visible color differences. An approximate color or texture match is not a refund basis when exact matching was not guaranteed in writing.

Drywall repairs

Drywall work may reveal water damage, mold, pests, insulation issues, structural movement, plumbing, wiring, or other concealed conditions. Additional repairs are not included unless authorized through an updated estimate or change order.

Patched areas and matched textures may remain visible under certain lighting or viewing angles. Reasonable texture or finish variation does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Handyman services

A handyman repair addresses only the documented task or component. It does not guarantee an entire appliance, fixture, assembly, structure, or system unless the accepted scope expressly states otherwise.

Refunds do not apply to failures caused by another component, defective customer-supplied materials, misuse, ordinary wear, hidden damage, or work performed by another person after INTAMPA INC completes the service.

10. Recurring Services and Automatic Renewals

Recurring cleaning or property maintenance services continue according to the accepted service plan until canceled, completed, or terminated under the applicable agreement.

Customers may cancel a recurring service by telephone or email. Cancellation applies to future appointments and does not reverse charges for services already completed.

A recurring appointment scheduled within the next 48 hours remains subject to the standard cancellation schedule unless the service agreement provides a longer notice period.

When an agreement includes automatic renewal, INTAMPA INC will provide the disclosures and cancellation methods required by applicable law. A customer may cancel through the same reasonable communication channel used to enroll when required by law.

11. Severe Weather, Hurricanes, and Force Majeure

Florida weather can make travel, exterior work, disposal, material delivery, or property access unsafe or impractical. INTAMPA INC may delay, suspend, or reschedule services because of:

  • Hurricanes, tropical storms, tornado warnings, lightning, flooding, or severe thunderstorms.
  • Government warnings, emergency declarations, evacuation orders, or road closures.
  • Unsafe heat, wind, rain, standing water, or exterior working conditions.
  • Utility outages, facility closures, supply interruptions, or transportation disruptions.
  • Other events beyond the reasonable control of INTAMPA INC or the customer.

No cancellation fee will apply when INTAMPA INC determines that a service must be postponed because of unsafe severe weather or an official emergency condition.

INTAMPA INC will make a reasonable effort to reschedule affected services. If the service cannot reasonably be completed after the delay, the customer may receive a refund of unused prepaid amounts.

Amounts already committed to custom materials, permits, equipment rentals, completed labor, delivery, or other authorized nonrecoverable costs may be deducted from the refund.

12. Cancellations by INTAMPA INC

INTAMPA INC may cancel, pause, or reschedule a service because of:

  • Unsafe property conditions.
  • Aggressive animals, threats, harassment, or abusive conduct.
  • Suspected hazardous, illegal, or regulated materials.
  • Nonpayment or payment-method failure.
  • Materially inaccurate information about the requested work.
  • Work that requires a permit, license, specialist, or technical qualification outside the accepted scope.
  • Unavailable labor, materials, equipment, or lawful disposal options.
  • Severe weather or another event beyond reasonable control.

If INTAMPA INC cancels before work begins for reasons unrelated to customer conduct and cannot offer a reasonable alternative date, unused prepaid amounts will be refunded.

If cancellation results from an undisclosed hazard, denied access, abusive conduct, material misrepresentation, or another customer breach, INTAMPA INC may deduct completed labor, mobilization, materials, and other authorized costs before refunding any remaining balance.

13. Refund Review and Processing

Refund requests must include enough information for INTAMPA INC to identify the customer, service, payment, and reason for the request.

INTAMPA INC may request photographs, invoices, messages, access to the property, or other reasonable documentation before making a decision.

Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after approval. Banks, payment processors, and card issuers may require additional time to post the credit.

When a refund to the original payment method is not possible, INTAMPA INC may issue a check, electronic transfer, or another mutually accepted form of payment.

A service credit will be issued only with the customer’s agreement. INTAMPA INC will not substitute store credit when applicable law requires a monetary refund.

14. Florida Consumer Refund and Cancellation Rights

Qualifying home solicitation sales

Certain transactions completed at a consumer’s home may qualify as home solicitation sales. When Section 501.025, Florida Statutes, applies, the buyer may have the right to cancel until midnight of the third business day after signing the agreement or offer to purchase.

Certain qualifying home improvement contracts may also carry statutory rescission rights. Any cancellation notice provided with a qualifying contract controls over a conflicting term in this general policy.

Review Section 501.025, Florida Statutes and Section 520.72, Florida Statutes .

Nothing in this policy waives a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under Florida or federal consumer-protection law.

15. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers should contact INTAMPA INC promptly after identifying a suspected billing error, duplicate charge, unauthorized charge, or disagreement concerning the completed scope.

Contacting INTAMPA INC first allows the company to review invoices, photographs, approvals, time records, payment records, and project communications.

Nothing in this policy prevents a customer from exercising a lawful payment-card dispute right. A chargeback does not automatically eliminate a valid debt for authorized services, materials, disposal, or other completed obligations.

INTAMPA INC may provide the payment processor with estimates, approvals, invoices, photographs, access records, communications, and other relevant documentation when responding to a payment dispute.

16. Changes to This Policy

INTAMPA INC may update this policy to reflect changes in services, operating practices, payment methods, legal requirements, or customer-support procedures.

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively to new bookings and transactions.

An update will not retroactively change the price, cancellation terms, or refund rights in an already accepted service agreement unless the customer agrees or applicable law requires the change.
